Dr. John Goodwin

Dr. John Goodwin is a general dentist who has practiced in the Phoenix area for 35 years.  He received his BA. from Arizona State University and his DDS. from the University of Southern California.  Dr. Goodwin was a long time staff member at St. Joseph’s hospital in Phoenix where he provided dental care for under privileged patients.

He also sees patients from the House of Refuge, a shelter for homeless men.  Dr. Goodwin is also a member of the ADA, ASDA and the Central Arizona Dental Society.  He volunteers his time to SEEDs for Autism, a vocational program for young adults that are on the spectrum.  Dr. Goodwin is a fourth generation Arizonan and is married to wife Kathy with children Brendan, Thomas, McKenzie and Keri.

Dr. Goodwin shares his perspective on suicide having experienced the loss of a spouse.  He has counseled individuals who have lost love ones due to suicide and understands the unique emotional feelings associated with the experience.
