Hello, my name is Stanley Gawelko. I was born in Fort Bragg, NC but moved to Phoenix, AZ when I was four years old. Growing up my main interests have revolved around baseball and fitness. I attended Sandra Day O’Connor High School, then Glendale Community College, and at 20 years old I moved to Dubuque, IA to further my college education. In Dubuque, I obtained a double major in Accounting and Finance from Clarke University. While enrolled here, I played collegiate baseball for the school and volunteer coached for one year. Due to the extreme weather change, among other variables, I decided to move home to Phoenix and join the corporate world.
After two years at Climatec, LLC, I left as a Senior Project Accountant to pursue an MBA at Ottawa University. As a graduate assistant coach, I am able to work towards my MBA while helping coach the baseball team here. My goals after school are to return to the corporate world while also successfully running a performance training and physical therapy facility.
I am excited for the future of Andy Hull’s Sunshine Foundation, and I am happy to be a part of it.
